Biography
Diego De Girolamo joins Emley AFC with a wealth of experience from both the Football League and the upper levels of non-league football.From starting his career at Sheffield United’s academy, Diego went on to play for clubs including Bristol City, York City, Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town and Chesterfield, while also representing Italy at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 level.
He enjoyed a hugely successful seven-year spell with Buxton, scoring more than 120 goals and helping the club to promotion, before spells with Macclesfield and Matlock Town. A proven goalscorer with quality and experience, Diego adds real firepower to the Pewits squad.
