Emley sealed their place in the next round of the Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup on Tuesday with a 6-0 win over Brodsworth but this will be a far tougher ask, the Pewits are already out of the FA Cup following a 4-0 defeat by Spennymoor Town last Saturday.

WHO ARE THEY?
The original Bootle FC were founded in 1879 and in 1892 they became a founding member of the Football league's Second Division, they only lasted 1 season before being replaced by another local club- Liverpool FC!

This current club was formed in 1953 as Langton and played in various regional leagues before becoming founder members of the NWCFL in 1982 but fell into the Liverpool County League in 2002 returning to the NWCL 4 years later, they were promoted to the NPL D1 W in 2021/22 where they have remained since.

They play at the Berry Street Garage Stadium ( or New Bucks Park) on Vesty Road, near to Aintree racecourse.
