Emley will be looking to further improve their top 4 promotion credentials when they face a tricky trip to Atherton Laburnum Rovers on Tuesday (7.45pm)
After the original game was one of a few to be hit by the bad weather over the last month, it will now be an evening trip 'over the tops' for Emley, who consolidated their position with a 4-1 win over Prestwich Heys on Saturday.
With games in hand due to the postponements, Richard Tracey's men will be looking to further improve their points difference, with games against all the other top 4 promotion hopefuls still to come.
Despite sitting 17th, Atherton can be a dangerous side, as Emley found out to their cost when they were soundly beaten at the Welfare Ground in November, they also beat Emley's promotion rivals AFC Liverpool last week.
With the top 4 being tight and with a chasing pack ready to hunt them down, it's important for Emley to maintain their good league form.
Pewits' boss Richard Tracey was happy with his sides win last weekend but disappointed with injuries to defenders John Cyrus and Declan Dawson,
"Sadly, and we don’t know the extent, but Dec Dawson and John Cyrus picking up ankle injuries is a concern and we will be liaising with the lads this week to see how they are."
But Tracey is looking forward to the game and hopeful of another good away following for his team.
"Now we must back this up Tuesday and hopefully we will have a large supporting contingent follow us to Atherton.”

WHO? Laburnum Rovers were founded as an under 14's team in 1956 and named after the playing fields on which they played, In the summer of 1980 the club joined the non-league pyramid when their application to join the Cheshire County League was successful. A stipulation of the League was that the towns name had to be in the clubs title, so links with the past were retained with the new name of Atherton Laburnum Rovers. The club were founder members of the NWCFL in 1982.
Their best spell of success came in the early-mid 1990's, twice NWCFL Champions in 92/93 and 93/94 and also FA Vase semi finalists in 1994.
