Emley look to put Wednesday’s disappointing cup defeat behind them as they look to maintain their decent league form when they travel to face AFC Blackpool on Saturday (3pm)
A trip to the seaside could be just what Emley need after a tough night in Barnsley on Wednesday, but the 3 league points are vital as Blackpool currently sit 5th, and looking to make a push into the top 4 promotion places.
But 2nd placed Emley will want to try and extend the gap and put themselves in a good position for a promotion push!
Emley will not want to be complacent though, despite posting impressive wins over the mechanics back in October, a 4-0 PlayerMatch.com cup win was followed 3 weeks later with a 4-0 league win, both games at Emley, but it could be a different kettle of fish now.
Back then, Blackpool were struggling near the bottom, but have picked up well since then, and on their home ground too, they could be a totally different proposition for Richard Tracey’s men.
