For the second Saturday running, Emley play host to opposition from Blackpool when they entertain AFC Blackpool in the NWCFL Div 1 North at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground, 3.00pm.
After last Saturday's 2-1 cup win over AFC's neighbours, Squires Gate, Emley will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league again, following their recent good spell.
It's the second time this month that Blackpool have visited the Welfare Ground, following a 4-0 beating in the PlayerMatch.com cup earlier in the month.
The visitors have only played once since that cup defeat and it was eye opening 6-3 win over Daisy Hill, so they have the firepower to punish any slackness in an Emley defence, which has never really managed to settle, but Emley, in Rob Bordman have a striker capable of the sublime and the ridiculous, all in the same move sometimes!
In terms of league positions, Emley are currently 5th, just one place outside the automatic promotion places, while Blackpool are 12th, both teams need the league points for different reasons, Emley to keep in touch with and even get into the promotion places, Blackpool to put themselves away from any potential relegation worries and make a push themselves for the top 4.

Lytham St. Annes resigned from their own league and brought their resources and manpower to Jepson Way in a bid to launch the new look Mechanics in their push up the non-league football pyramid, The club was re-named AFC Blackpool in May 2008 when Blackpool Mechanics FC and Squires Gate Junior FC got together to form one club.
