Emley are once again on the road on Tuesday night when they travel to Ashton Town, Kick off 7.45 pm.
After their successful trip to Westhoughton on Saturday when they defeated Daisy Hill 4-2, the Pewits and their fans will once again be heading to South West Lancashire to face an Ashton side that started the season off on fire, currently 2nd on the form table, with 3 fine home wins, 5-1 V AFC Liverpool, 3-0 V Daisy Hill and a 5-3 victory over Bacup on Saturday, whilst also succumbing to a 1-3 away defeat at Prestwich Heys, They have scored 13 of their 14 goals at home so far this season!
Emley will be up against the leagues top scorer so far in Dylan Glass, Glass has scored 6 goals so far, so Emley's defence will have to be on top form against him and his team mates.
Emley, though will feel confident, of stopping that good run of form, after Saturday's good performance at Daisy Hill, where they ended that particular unbeaten home run, and in Jimmy Eyles and Rob Bordman, Emley certainly have the experience, work rate, power and pace to trouble any defences up front and the experience and work of the midfield duo Josh Ingham and Jamie Price should also stand the Pewits in good stead
