Now that the “Beast from the East” that caused the cancellation of games has passed, AFC Emley are back in action this weekend, the first of four home games in a row, and six games in 21 days. They welcome high flying Shirebrook Town to the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground.

AFC Emley, who sit comfortably in mid table will be looking for a first win in four games, hoping home field advantage is on their side. The last time these two teams met in the reverse fixture on September 5th, Emley were the 3-1 victors, with Lewis Dickson helping himself to two goals.

Shirebrook Town are one of the high-flying teams in the league, sitting in 5th place, right in the mix of the playoffs race. They are riding a four-game win streak, and they will hope to make it five with an away win over Emley this weekend.

Kieran Watson has found the back of the net four times in those four games and scored Shirebrook’s only goal in their 3-1 loss to Emley back in September, he will be looking to add to his goal tally. Shirebrook as a team have scored 15 goals in their last five games and will look to continue their relentless run in front of goal.
