A playerMatch.com cup semi final spot is up for grabs for Emley as they make the trip to the Welsh border country to take on FC Oswestry Town on Saturday (3pm)
It's a tough game to call as both sides are 2nd in their respective leagues, Emley in NWCFL D1 North, while Oswestry are in the Southern section, both teams are in good form, indeed, Oswestry's 0-1 defeat to Stockport Town on Tuesday was only their 2nd defeat in 12 games, including 3 consecutive clean sheets before Stockport's goal , so Emley's attack will have to be on top form to breach a stubborn defence.
Emley are in good league form themselves, Saturday's 5-1 win over Steeton made it 7 league games unbeaten with Steeton's goal being the only one the Pewits have conceded in 3 games.
Both teams are capable of scoring goals too as well as adept at keeping them out, expect a high scoring draw then!
Emley have already seen off the challenges of AFC Blackpool and Daisy Hill in this competition, but they may find Oswestry a tougher nut to crack.

WHO?FC Oswestry Town was formed in 2014. The team joined the Mercian Regional Football League First Division in the 2013 / 2014 season, finishing 3rd in the league. The automatic promotion took FC Oswestry Town into the Premier Division.

OWT ELSE?Large car park available at The Venue, The club shares facilities with Welsh Premier League side The New Saints. We have covered a large stands both behind the goal and down one side, with a tea bar and licensed bar available on matchdays.
