Emley are back in cup action on Saturday when they host Ellesmere Rangers in the Macron Cup 2nd Round at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground (3pm).
After maintaining their slender lead, since regained by Lower Breck this week, at the top of NWCFL D1 North with a comprehensive 5-0 win at Steeton last week, Emley will be hoping to keep their decent form up against their opponents from Shropshire. Currently a lowly 20th in the NWCFL D1 South, but having won their last two come into the game on a bit of form themselves.
It will be unknown territory for both teams having never faced each other before and the game will go straight to penalties after 90 minutes if there is a draw.
It's the first of two cup games for the Pewits this week, as they then face Daisy Hill next Wednesday in the PlayerMatch.com cup at Emley.
