Emley back on the road

AFC Emley are back on the road on Saturday, when they travel to Barnsley to take on high flying Worsbrough Bridge (3pm).
Emley's last 2 games have both been at home, and both ended in defeat, 0-5 to Handsworth in the county cup and a 0-2 reversal to Glasshoughton last Saturday, to leave Joe Howson's men in 10th place in the NCEL Division 1.
But Emley's last away game ended in a thumping 6-0 win at bottom side FC Bolsover, however, "The Briggers" are likely to prove a far tougher nut to crack.
Currently in 7th place, a probably unlikely thought at the start of the season for a team who have struggled around the bottom 4 in the last few seasons,manager Lee Morris has turned the fortunes around,although they have lost their last 4 games, but will still pose a huge threat to Emley's chances of breaking into the top half of the table.
The corresponding fixture last year ended 0-0, but it would be a surprise if that was to happen again, games between these two usually see plenty of goals, Worsbrough won 3-1 at Emley last season, but 2 season ago, Emley recorded wins of 5-0 and 6-0, so goals are pretty much guaranteed.

With it being a fairly local game, it would be good to see a good number of Emley supporters following the Pewits down the M1.
The address is;
Park Road, Worsbrough Bridge, Barnsley, S70 5LJ
Admission is £5 adults and £3 concessions
