Volunteer Role: Community Partnerships Manager
Location: Emley AFC, Emley, HD8
Commitment: Flexible, with some evening/weekend involvement as required Reports to: Club Board

This voluntary position is ideal for someone who knows the village and surrounding areas well, has existing connections with local groups, businesses, and organisations, or has the ability to build strong networks.

The Community Partnerships Manager will play a key role in fostering relationships between Emley AFC and other community groups, helping to create mutually beneficial partnerships. They will work to maximise the use of our club facilities between match days, providing support to new and existing local groups and initiatives. The role also involves using Emley AFC’s strong and recognisable brand to promote and support these groups through marketing and promotional opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
-Identify and develop partnerships with local community groups, businesses, and organisations.
-Act as the primary point of contact between Emley AFC and community partners.
-Promote the use of Emley AFC facilities for community events, meetings, and activities.
-Support groups in gaining exposure through Emley AFC’s marketing channels, including social media and match-day promotions.
-Help strengthen Emley AFC’s presence and reputation within the HD8 area.
-Attend community events to represent the club and engage with potential partners.
-Provide regular updates and reports to the Club Board on partnership activities.
-Collaborate with club directors and volunteers, including the Media & Marketing Director, Retail & Hospitality Manager, and Club Partnerships Manager, to ensure a joined-up approach to club and community engagement.

Ideal Candidate:
-Strong knowledge of Emley and the wider HD8 community.
-Well-connected within local groups or confident in building new relationships.
-Passionate about community engagement and grassroots football.
-Good communication and networking skills.
-Able to work independently and proactively to develop new opportunities.
-Experience in marketing, event planning, or community outreach (desirable but not essential).
