Emley AFC is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to take on the role of Club Partnerships Manager.

Volunteer Role: Club Partnerships Manager
Location: Emley AFC, Emley, HD8
Commitment: Flexible, but attendance on match-days required
Reports to: Club Board
DBS Check Required

This voluntary role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of grassroots and junior football, who can act as the key link between Emley AFC and other football clubs.

The Club Partnerships Manager will maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partner clubs while actively seeking new clubs to engage with Emley AFC.

They will support these clubs by leveraging Emley AFC’s expertise and resources, helping to foster collaboration and problem-solving among teams. A crucial part of this role will be to drive footfall at Emley AFC match days by organising and delivering mascot experience days for junior players and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
-Act as the main liaison between Emley AFC and grassroots/junior football clubs.
-Build and maintain relationships with existing partner clubs while securing new partnerships on a regular basis.
-Provide support to clubs by connecting them with Emley AFC directors and volunteers who can offer expertise.
-Facilitate connections between clubs to encourage mutual support and problem-solving.
-Plan, book, and deliver mascot experience days at Emley AFC home matches to drive attendance and engagement.
-Represent Emley AFC at local football events and meetings to promote collaboration and partnership opportunities.
-Work closely with other club volunteers, including the Community Partnerships Manager, Media & Marketing Director, and Head of Match Day Operations, to ensure a joined-up approach to engagement.

Ideal Candidate:
-Strong understanding of grassroots and junior football.
-Well-connected within the local football community or confident in building relationships.
-Passionate about youth development and community engagement in football.
-Excellent communication and networking skills.
-Organised and proactive in planning and delivering partnership initiatives.
-Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
-Experience in event planning or club development (desirable but not essential).
