Income generated by sponsorship is vital to the club’s development on and off the field and this is an area of significant growth but also opportunity. The club is looking to appoint a new volunteer commercial team to drive further success.

As with our media and marketing team, we’re looking to create a pool of people who collaborate to bring in more businesses. Specifically, we’re looking for commercial director, commercial manager and commercial assistant.

Commercial Director - This is a board level appointment to lead the commercial team and therefore requires significant mid to senior experience in a business environment, preferably with a sales background but certainly with an excellent contacts book. Working along side the chairman and vice-chairman with support from the Media and Marketing Director, you’ll drive the strategy, generate new ideas and avenues, recruit/run the commercial team and report to the board on progress. You will also oversee our newly recruited account managers to sustain existing partnerships and aid with renewals.

Commercial Manager(s) and/or Commercial Assistant(s) - As you will be supporting and reporting to the Commercial Director these roles do not require as much or any experience but you will have a willingness to learn, excellent communication skills and have or develop an ability to generate leads and secure new sponsorship deals.

All roles are voluntary and expected to be mostly remote with occasional attendance at matches and meetings in the West Yorkshire area. The expectation is of a time commitment or around 4 hours per week for all roles.
