Emley AFC are proud to welcome Majestic Site Management Ltd to the 1903 President’s Club and the official sponsor of the newly opened Gordon Adamson Suite.
Founded in 2019 by Lee Marsden, Majestic Site Management has become a trusted name in construction management, health and safety consultancy, and specialist training. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Marsden has successfully delivered complex projects across the UK while staying true to his roots in West Yorkshire.
For Marsden, the partnership with Emley AFC isn’t just about business - it’s about giving back to the community he values deeply: “I’m a massive advocate of social values, and I do a lot with grassroots. There’s yourself, Huddersfield Town, schools, cricket clubs, and Hade Edge under-16s football club. I’ve known Andy Hobson (Emley AFC President) for a few years, and it’s Andy who got me involved. I’m a big believer that the more I get out of the town and the community, the more I’m going to put back.”
“Andy invited me to Emley last season, and I went to the club’s end-of-season dinner. The presentation you guys did - the story behind you all, how you’re all volunteers, the work that you do, it’s fantastic. The whole feel of the club is so refreshing. It’s proper raw football, proper grassroots, where everyone knows each other and everyone’s pulling in the same direction.
“I just love the feel of it. It’s a great match-day experience - proper pie and peas, standing there with everyone, watching a team that plays with heart and gives everything. It’s just a great day out. I was glad to get involved and help in any way I could.”
Majestic Site Management’s support for Emley AFC goes hand in hand with its ethos as a business. Beyond delivering safe, high‑quality projects, the company prioritises social value working with local suppliers, reinvesting in communities, and helping small contractors meet industry standards.
Joining the 1903 President’s Club and also sponsoring the Gordon Adamson Suite are just some of the ways Lee wants to strengthen ties with the club and its supporters.
He said: “When Huddersfield Town are away, we’ll be up at Emley. Like I say, the more I get back from this community, the more I’ll give back to it. Football’s my passion, that’s where my money tends to go when I part with it. My wife likes going over to Emley too as well so it’s a good way to enjoy something together.
“I think when you get involved with a club like Emley, you can feel that everything’s for the benefit of the village. It’s not just about football, it’s about the people, the volunteers, the sense of pride. That’s something I really want to be part of.”
Lee believes the club has great potential both on and off the field, and he’s eager to help it grow: “I just want to see the club get to where they want to be. It’d be nice if you got promoted, got bigger and better crowds, and saw the ground develop to realise its full potential. That would be fantastic. You’ve got to be careful how you do things, but you can still be ambitious. It’d be nice to see what the place could look like in five or ten years if the club keeps growing.”
Since its launch, Majestic has taken on a diverse portfolio of work from listed building extensions to multi‑million‑pound commercial schemes like the Kampus development in Manchester. The company provides services ranging from project and site management to health and safety consultancy, CDM compliance, and accredited training courses for contractors of all sizes.
Lee's long‑standing expertise comes from a career that began at just 16: “I’m 52 now, but I joined the Army at 16, straight out of school, at the Army Apprentice College with the Royal Engineers where I did a two‑year apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery. That’s where my construction journey started, and I’ve been doing it pretty much all my life. Setting up Majestic in 2019 was about using all that experience to build something that could make a real difference.”
As the 2025/26 season gets underway, Lee is looking forward to seeing Emley AFC thrive:
“The club has something special about it. Winners back winners, and it’s clear to me that Emley has the ambition and drive to keep moving forward. I’m proud Majestic can play a small part in that journey.”
With Majestic Site Management on board, Emley AFC continues to build lasting partnerships with local businesses who share their commitment to community, ambition, and success.
