Vital clash for the Pewits!

AFC Emley are back in action at the Fantastic Media Welfare ground on Saturday when they welcome Rossington Main (3pm)
It will be the first home game of 2019 and the first home game for the new management set up following last week's 1-3 defeat at Hallam in a game which had a fair few positives for interim manager Marlon Adams and assistant Darren Hepworth.
Despite the defeat to a team chasing promotion, Emley were the better team for parts of the game, and the game was probably only decided in a controversial end to the first half, where Hallam scored off the back of what looked like a foul on Stocker and then had Porter sent off for 2 bookable offences, and the willingness to work for each other and the spirit and determination they showed when 3-1 down must surely stand them in good stead for will be a tough game in which the Pewits will be looking for 3 vital points to try and avoid a relegation battle.
The visitors, from Doncaster, currently 2 places above Emley in 13th and with 4 points separating them, it means Emley really can't afford to slip up, Rossington's form is a bit up and down, last week's last minute defeat to 5th places Nostell, came off the back of a 'Doncaster Derby' win over Armthorpe the week before.
Last week's defeat was Emley's 4th successive defeat, but with renewed optimism and games coming up against the teams in and around them, Saturday would be a perfect time to end that run and start picking points up.
