Rossington Main vs AFC Emley

Joe Howson credited his players work rate on Wednesdays cup win against Hall Green, however more injury problems causes a headache for the manager picking his starting 11 for Saturday's fixture against twelfth place Rossington Main.

Sitting 2 places below Emley in the league, Rossington Main are looking to put an end to their miserable 5 game losing streak, and 3 points for them will take them above the away side in the table, With Emley having a game in hand.

Despite the clubs injury woes, the Howson's men has seen a resurgence of results- 2 convincing wins indicate Emley could well have a very successful November. The current form of Lewis Dickinson and Jordan Townend suggest they could be the instigators that inspire a run of good form.

Dickinson's 3 goals in the last 4 games, and Townends 2 goals and 2 assists have been priceless. The duo took to twitter to comment on their positive form. Dickinson requesting Townend to "keep them coming" with the assists.

A man of the match performance from Brad Duxbury last time out kept the scoreline down, and the same defensive form could well be what Emley need. Their last clean sheet seems a world away- a 2-0 win over Sandbach in the F.A Vase last September!

The question remains whether Matty Waller will start, he departed prematurely on Wednesday due to injury, however it didn't look to serious. His flair has been vital to the team and thrilling for the fans, his return to the squad could also be the boost Joe Howson needs to kick start a potential push for the play offs.
