Pewits clocking up the miles with a trip to the North East up next.

Emley are back on the road again on Tuesday night when we make another 160+ mile round trip to face Newton Aycliffe in County Durham (7.45pm)

Newton Aycliffe, known as 'The Newtonians' were founded in 1965, by 1985 they were members of the Wearside League but resigned in 1994 but reformed playing local Durham county league and rejoined the Wearside league in 2007, before moving up again to the Northern League in 2009 and won promotion to the NPL in 2022-23, last seasons' 7th place finish was the highest the club had ever finished.

Emley's 1-0 win at Grimsby was their second consecutive 1-0 win this season following the 1-0 FA Cup extra preliminary tie over FC St Helens, Newton Aycliffe meanwhile opened their league account with a 2-2 draw at Sheffield FC on Saturday with an equaliser in the 6th minute of added on time.

This will be the first meeting between the sides.
