“Emley AFC are a great partner for us and we are very much looking forward to sharing in their success as they start the season in style!”
Co-founder of Hortor, Andy Nicholson
Hortor, the global strategic resourcing specialist with UK offices in Leeds and London, has agreed a year-round sponsorship deal with Emley AFC to support the club as it sets its sights on becoming a serious contender in the league.
Following a restructure and rebrand, Emley AFC has big ambitions and wants to start the season in style with sponsors that share the same values and commitment for the club and its future success.
Becoming a prominent feature at the ground, Hortor has sponsored the first team’s home kit, secured shed-end stand hoardings and become named sponsor of the club’s popular café – the Dugout Diner, which moving forward will be referred to as the Hortor Dugout Diner.
Supporting the team as they take to the pitch to compete in at least 38 games during the season, Hortor will become a permanent fixture and will be cheering from the side lines.
Co-founder of Hortor, Andy Nicholson, comments: “We have been looking at ways that we can support local organisations and those that have a positive impact on the community. When we were approached by Emley it was a perfect fit.
“For us, it’s always about more than just money and branding, it’s about values and creating lasting relationships that make a difference. Emley AFC are a great partner for us and we are very much looking forward to sharing in their success as they start the season in style!”
Nigel Wakefield, Chairman of Emley AFC, comments: “We have a new name and a new management team. We’re delighted Hortor are joining us at the start of this new chapter and we are excited to see where this season will take us.”
