Emley return to the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground on Tuesday hoping to extend their 2 match winning streak when Knaresborough Town are the visitors (7.45pm)

After 2 fruitful trips on the road which yielded 2 wins, 6 points and 2 clean sheets, Emley will be hoping to make it 3 games on the bounce and more or less make sure they play in the NCEL Premier division again next season.

Despite the frustration of not picking up wins, Emley have shown enough over the last few weeks that they would eventually get the rewards their performances have suggested, consecutive away wins at Albion Sports (2-0) and Handsworth (1-0) ended an 8 match streak without a win and will have hopefully blown a few cobwebs away.

Saturday’s win in Sheffield actually saw Emley move above Knaresborough in the table and a win on Tuesday would put a further gap between the teams.

Knaresborough have a sticky run of form themselves, however they had an impressive 3-1 win over title favourites Eccleshill last time out, which ended a run of 6 heavy defeats.

Knaresborough Town were founded in 1902 and have played in the NCEL since 2012, winning promotion to the Premier division in 2018/19 as division 1 champions.
