FINAL CALL - Register for open trials

There is still time to register for Emley AFC All Club Open trials.

If you live in Yorkshire and are interested in playing for Emley AFC, there is still an opportunity to sign up.

ALL players must register to attend. The date of the trials are now set for Wednesday 1st June from 5.30pm and Saturday 4th June from 11.30am near Wakefield.

Trials are for all our teams, Academy U18s, U23s and our First Team which is part of the NCEL Premier Division.

To play for Emley AFC you must be able to commit to attending training once a week (Thursday's) and games could be during the week or /and on a Saturday.

Emley Academy age groups:
Under 18s
Players must be born on or after 01/09/2004 to be eligible to play
Under 23s
Players must be born on or after 01/09/1999 to be eligible to play

The sessions will include fitness testing, psychological profiling, technically demanding practices and tactically conditioned small and large sided games. Players will be assessed in all aspects of their performance both on and off the field.

Successfully selected players from the sessions will then be invited back for Phase 2 of Pre-Season, where players will start to prepare for the beginning of the football season from July 2022.
