AFC Emley are back in action this Saturday when they host Worsbrough Bridge Athletic at the Fantastic Media Welfare ground 3pm.
The Pewits had a week off last weekend and will be looking to move up the table, despite being unbeaten in 3 games, Emley currently sit in 12th place in the NCEL division 1 table, their opponents from Barnsley are currently 6th.
Emley have only lost once in 5 league games including a 2-2 draw at Worsbrough last month, despite a remarkable start to the game when 2 Shane Hamilton goals in the first 2 minutes of the game putting them 2-0 up.
The last outing was another 2-2 draw this time against highly fancied Grimsby Borough, a last minute equaliser from Wayne Hughes saw Emley earn a share of the spoils.
Worsbrough started the season really well, despite being perennial strugglers but have fallen away slightly-although they have won their last two to keep themselves in the top echelons,but to sit in 6th place at this stage of the season is a real credit to them and they will pose a serious threat to Joe Howson's men on Saturday
