Support has been given to two fantastic village events taking place this summer - Emley Open Gardens and the Emley First School PTA Colour Run.

Both events play an important role in village life, with money raised supporting St Michael’s Church and Emley First School respectively.

At the beginning of the season, the club committed to giving 10% of 500 Club profits back to worthwhile causes in Emley and surrounding villages, helping ensure the scheme supports not just the football club, but the wider community too. As a fan-owned, volunteer-run club, that local connection is hugely important to everyone involved at Emley AFC.

The 500 Club itself continues to play a major role in helping the club improve facilities and prepare for life at Step 3 of the non-league pyramid.

Projects already supported through the scheme include:
• New stand seating

• Upgraded LED floodlights

• New perimeter fencing

• Electronic scoreboard

• Extension of the away changing room

This summer, the club is also looking to fund:
• Additional toilets at the Warburton End

• Upgrades to the PA system

• Extended WiFi coverage to improve hospitality and operations

• Support for an additional turnstile to improve matchday access

Longer-term ambitions also include additional entrances, more food and drink outlets and new changing rooms to help create a significantly larger bar and social space for supporters and visitors.

The club is encouraging more people to join the 500 Club this summer.

Membership is not just open to supporters - anyone with a connection to the club, the village or the wider HD8 area and beyond is welcome to take part.

For just £10 per month via recurring card payment, members are entered into a monthly draw to win:
