Emley seek hat trick of wins to ease fears

AFC Emley are back in action on Saturday when they welcome East Yorkshire Carnegie to the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground (3pm)
After last week's win at Ollerton made it 2 wins and 2 cleans sheets in a row , Marlon Adams' men will be confident of a 3rd straight win against a bottom half rival to further allay any relegation worries.
Vital wins over Skegness and Ollerton have given Emley a massive boost when it looked as if a relegation scrap was a real threat, although not safe by any means, those 6 points have moved Emley up to 14th in the Northern Counties East League Division 1, above Skegness, Ollerton and East Yorkshire, Emley are currently 9 points clear of Harworth who occupy the 2nd relegation spot, but also have a much better goal difference than the teams around them.
A win on Saturday will put Emley 8 points ahead of EYC, and hopefully looking for a big push for the top half for the rest of the season.
East Yorkshire will be desperate for points as well, and will fancy their chances of closing the gap on the Pewits, but their form is somewhat erratic, 1 win, 2 draws and 3 defeats from their last 6 games.
It could make for an intense encounter at the Welfare ground.
