THE LOWDOWN Emley will be hoping for better luck than last Saturday, when, with the team stripped and on the field, and a good travelling support at Bacup, the referee deemed the pitch unplayable and duly called the game off without a ball being kicked in anger, after last week's home opening win V Chadderton, Emley were keen to get going and get their first points on the road on the board, after an opening day defeat at Lower Breck.
Daisy Hill meanwhile have a had a mixed start to their campaign, a 3-1 win at home on the opening day against Bacup, was followed by a 0-3 loss at Ashton Town, but they bounced back last weekend, beating St Helens Town at home 2-1, so their home form appears to be decent, Emley will need to show a big improvement from the trip to Liverpool 3 weeks ago if they are to get the result here.
