BOTTESFORD TOWN (A) Preview and matchday information

Build up to our next match on the road in North East Lincs

Emley look to continue their recent run of good form when they head to Scunthorpe to take on Bottesford Town on Saturday (3pm)

Following an impressive few weeks where Emley have won their last 4 without conceding a single goal, they head to North East Lincolnshire confident of making 5 in a row and also claiming their 3rd league "double" after recent 6 point hauls against Albion Sports and Handsworth.

Bottesford are enjoying some good form of their own though, 4 wins from the last 5, and they currently sit 10th on the NCEL Premier division table, Emley's good form has seen them climb to 14th and with the possibility of going higher should they repeat their victory over The Poachers in October.

That 6-1 trouncing in October at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground was only Emley's second win of the season, the first was the previous game, and it was hoped at the time it would kick start the season, better late than never though!

The teams have met a few times previously, perhaps the most famous of those being the 2016 NCEL D1 play off final at Bottesford's Birch Park where Emley were heartbroken by a last minute penalty and then a shoot out defeat after extra time.
