WHO? Bacup Borough were formed way back in 1879, and in 1982 became founder members of the NWCFL, Bacup are managed by Brent Peters, who, astonishingly has held the position since September 1997!
Following the demise of Rossendale United in 2013, Bacup officially became known as Bacup and Rossendale Borough, due to Bacup being the only club left playing in the Rossendale area.

THE LOWDOWN Emley are on the road again this Saturday when they travel over the Hills to face Bacup Borough.
Both teams suffered opening day away day defeats, by the same 3-1 scoreline, Emley at Lower Breck and Bacup at Daisy Hill, so both teams will be looking for a win to hopefully spark a run up the table.
Bacup have had a decent few years, reaching the North West Counties Division One play off final where they lost to Barnton, and last season they reached the semi finals of the Division one cup.
