Points go back to Bradford after thriller!

AFC Emley went down 2-3 to Campion in an entertaining game at a soggy Fantastic Media Welfare ground, the fans were treated to another goal fest although tonight's 5 was 3 short of the 8 we saw last week!
In a bright opening, Emley were the ones on the front foot first, an early shot from Emley sailed wide, before both teams traded speculative long shots, Campion's dropping over the bar and Emley's caught by the keeper.
Campion took the lead on 10 minutes, after a shot was parried by Emley keeper Ben Ledger, the rebound shot hit the post and looked to be heading to safety before Cusack nipped in to put the ball in the net.
Emley then had a really good spell, playing some neat stuff, but just not finding that cutting edge ,Daniel Naidole hit a shot wide, then 2 miutes later, Ruben Jerome fired a shot straight at the keeper, Campion then had a spell of pressure themselves, a couple of shots drifted wide after good build up work to the relief of the Emley defence.
The game swung back in Emley's favour, a lovely run and turn by Jerome, outwitted the defence but the the shot went wide, it would have been a great goal, Jerome, did get a shot on target, but the keeper saved well and Naidole couldn't finish the rebound off.
Ledger, in the Emley goal was then called upon to make a fine save, and Wayne Hughes completed the good defending, just managing to clear in time.
Then, a minute before half time, the Pewits got a deserved equaliser, good work saw the ball played to Ben Burnett, his solid shot was parried and after a couple of rebounds, Joshua Ingham tucked the ball away.
Half time 1-1.
The 2nd half started like the first, with the home team on the attack early on, Ben Burnett fired a lovely cross into the box, but the ball eluded everyone, the next few minutes were dominated by a midfield battle, with no attacks to speak off.
Then, just before the hour, Emley were awarded a free kick on their left, Michael Tunnacliffe played in a beauty of a ball and Ruben Jerome came from the back post to calmly slot the ball past the Campion keeper in front of the newly opened Richard Hirst stand.
Emley then looked to take the game away from the visitors, a strong run from substitute Shane Hamilton and a great pass from Ingham saw Hamilton bearing down on goal, his shot was turned away for a corner by the keeper, from the corner, James Stafford headed wide of the post.
Jerome then had the ball in the net after a good move by Emley, but the linesman's flag was up for offside.
With the game heading for the closing moments and Emley holding a 2-1 lead, the visitors then turned the game on it's head in the space of 3 minutes, against the run of play, first, a looping header at the far post sailed over Ledger's head and into the net, 2 minutes later, a killer pass from midfield broke the offside trap and Britton steered home what turned out to be the winner in this ding-dong battle in the rain in front of 160.
So, 2 home games, 13 goals and lots of action, but only 1 point to show for it for Emley, who would probably rather have 6 points from 2 dull games you suspect!
