Flynn opened the scoring on 25 minutes before Max Leonard doubled the advantage 6 minutes later. The free-scoring Flynn hit his second and Emley's third moments later.
The main talking point of the night was the withdrawal of Leonard around the 40 minute mark. The midfielder had picked up an early yellow card and, with the opposition targeting him for a second coupled with some unpredictable refereeing decisions, manager Darren Hepworth brought on Michael Tunnacliffe as insurance.
In the second half, Emley should have steamed ahead of a largely lacklustre Hall Road Rangers but couldn't make any of the numerous chances count.
Rangers did grab one back in the final 10 minutes but the comeback was never truly on and, when sub Steven Kenworthy was tripped in the box in injury time, the industrious Kieran Ryan stepped up to seal a 4-1 win from the penalty spot.
