Two goals in either half ensured a comfortable victory for Emley, in a game in which they were rarely troubled by brave but ultimately outclassed opposition.
The home side were dominant from the word go, with Steven Kenworthy, Antony Brown and Alex Hallam all going close in the opening 10 minutes.
For all their dominance, it wasn't until the 29th minute that Emley finally broke the deadlock. The ball came free in the box from an Emley throw-in, and it was Michael Tunnacliffe who pounced on it, taking a touch before delicately clipping the ball above the onrushing Adam Stevens and into the net.
It wasn't long before Emley were in again, this time owing to a superb effort from Max Leonard. The central midfielder took a loose ball from a Rossington corner and made a fantastic run to the opposition box, before playing a slick 1-2 with forward Brown and calmly slotting the ball into the corner of the goal, three minutes before the end of the first half.
The second half started much as the first concluded, with Emley on top and Rossington offering very little going forward, and sure enough Emley were in again just after the hour mark.
Max Leonard whipped in a corner that was met by the head of forward Antony Brown, who finally got the goal that a sharp performance had deserved.
Emley's superb afternoon was capped off by an albeit unfortunate own goal by centre back Andy Wood, who diverted a low cross into his own net.
It was a dominant performance from Emley, who now have a Tuesday night trip to Yorkshire Amateur to look forward to.
