Crucial game for Emley as league points badly needed!

AFC Emley face a crucial game this weekend when they welcome Skegness Town to the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground (3pm) hoping to ease possible relegation fears!
With a bad run of form and the form of the teams in and around them, the Pewits find themselves now only 2 place and 3 points off the bottom 2 relegation places in the Northern Counties East League Division 1.
Skegness, who were promoted from the Lincolnshire league last season got the better of Emley in December with a 3-0 win,and have since moved up to 13th place, after winning 4 in a row during December, they have lost 2 out of the last 3 games.
No team can seem to gain any consistency, Campion are the only side to have not lost in the last 6 games, while only 4 teams have won more than half their games, Emley's problem is not helped by the teams around them, with the exception of Armthorpe, have all picked up at last 5 points.
But Emley desperately need points, if not because of the league position but for confidence too, in the last few games, Emley have competed well, created chances, but can't finish them off, added to that, defensive lapses and that has cost games, which, hopefully with a bit more confidence should be eradicated sooner than later, so a win is pretty vital for the men in Claret and Blue!
Why not come along and give them some support, and take advantage of our £10 ticket offer?
