Emley welcome bottom side

AFC Emley are at home for the 3rd consecutive game when they host FC Bolsover at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground on Saturday (3pm).
Bolsover, who were only formed in 2016, and managed promotion to the NCEL at the first attempt have struggled so far in their 2 seasons, finishing 2nd from bottom last season and currently sit bottom of Division 1 without a single point and a massive goal difference already, so Emley will be favourites to pick up another 3 points and move them up the table.
However, Joe Howson's men will know that there is no such thing as an easy win or a guaranteed 3 points in this Division.
But in saying that, Bolsover's form has improved somewhat, after their 4 opening games in which they shipped a total of 26 goals, and despite losing all 11 games so far, they haven't been far away in recent games and tightening up their defence.
Emley will need to improve their attack if they are to being more misery on the Shirebrook based team, after creating plenty of chances but failing to take any, from last weekends defeat to Dronfield Town.
The Pewits did the double over Bolsover last year, winning 2-1 at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground, followed by a 2-0 success in Shirebrook, and will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten hold over their Derbyshire opponents.
